How to Load Your EZ-RAX Scaffolding

2025-03-06T13:05:18-05:00September 6th, 2023|Blog|

When your project is complete and you’re ready to load the EZ-RAX system up to return, follow these steps for easy loading: Remove the snap pin from the latch and open. Place outriggers on the rack between two supports. Rotate the latch to hold the outriggers in place, then secure the latch with the snap pin. How To Transport Your Scaffold with EZ-RAX

2025-03-06T13:11:07-05:00September 6th, 2023|Blog|

Scaffolding is instrumental in providing workers with a temporary structure upon which they can work at height or in hard-to-reach places. The key word here is “temporary.” Getting scaffolding to the construction site, and then hauling it away when the project is complete, can be challenging.  Bil-Jax responded by developing EZ-RAX, the industry’s first and only scaffold transport system. The EZ-RAX scaffold trailer is designed for use with our popular 5’ x 7’ rolling tower scaffold. Every part and component is held within one integrated storage racking system. In addition to the scaffold system and rolling tower, the storage rack comes [...]

How to Maximize Your Scaffolding Rental ROI

2025-03-06T13:14:06-05:00September 6th, 2023|Blog|

As long as there are construction projects, there will be a need for scaffolding. Workers depend on scaffolding to provide a safe and secure platform upon which they can carry out their tasks efficiently. But many contractors are reluctant to invest in purchasing scaffolding. Between high overhead costs, fluctuating demand, and other variables, renting scaffolding is often the better business decision. Scaffolding rental isn’t without its challenges, either. Inventory management is perhaps the trickiest part; having too little scaffolding on hand can cause you to miss out on opportunities, but having too much isn’t cost-effective — and when it’s just lying [...]

How to Build a Scaffold Stair Tower

2025-08-06T21:04:57-04:00December 7th, 2022|Blog|

A scaffold stair tower is an instrumental component of the scaffolding system. When working in difficult-to-reach places with limited access, scaffold stair towers provide access both indoors and out, and are designed to meet rigid safety requirements. Workers completing projects such as multistory buildings and bridges rely on stair towers to get as close to the required work as possible.  Careful assembly is crucial when erecting a scaffold stair tower. As with all scaffolding systems, there are inherent safety risks including falls, manual injuries, and falling debris.   Before beginning the assembly process, closely inspect all materials. Make sure all moving [...]
