Summary:
Assembly of aerial work platforms (telescopic booms, scissor lifts, and the many sub-assemblies that go into building them) used in the equipment rental, building and construction industries.

Major Functions:

  • Manage the planning, writing, editing, and publishing of all digital content both paid and organic
  • Handling, positioning, and placing components or sub-assemblies according to safety rules and available means (crane, slings, hand and power tools, etc.)
  • Assembling components according to assembly processes
  • Performing visual assessments of work (compliance of the various assemblies, components, labelling, designs, etc.)
  • Verifying the assembly/disassembly (appearance, parallelism, play, retention, operation, etc.) and correcting minor deviations (cleaning threads, cleaning bores)
  • Maintaining production tools in good condition (wrenches, torque wrenches, screw drivers, etc.)
  • Communicating regularly and effectively with his/her manager, supervisor, and/or team leader
  • May assist with the training of new employees
  • Will be proactive in reducing the impact of or resolving problems
  • Other related duties as assigned

Experience and Education:

  • Able to read blueprints and work orders in English
  • Able to work closely with team members in an assembly line/work cell environment and also independently
  • Must be able to learn all positions within the work cell
  • Must be PC literate and able to use hand-held scanner
  • Must be reliable, have a strong work ethic, and good attendance

Welder

Summary:
Use hand-welding to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.

Major Functions:

  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, shielded metal arc, and resistance welding
  • Remove rough spots from workpieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers
  • Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment
  • Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Weld tubular products individually or with a partner
  • Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits
  • Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding

Skills:

  • Understanding written instructions in work orders
  • Able to read simple blueprints
  • Determining the best kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job

Summary:
An inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable with making and receiving inbound and outbound calls, working in a call center environment, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales. Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer needs, requirements and answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms
  • Develop relationships with customers and recommend products to customers, based on customers’ needs and interests.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
  • Consult with clients after sales to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Assist Salesmen with updating or creating spreadsheets when needed to quote blanket business to customers
  • Process and enter customer orders and quotations in ERP system
  • Monitor orders on progress and provide status updates to customers
  • Communication with demand planner to follow up orders and lead-time
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales
  • Other duties / projects assigned by Management

Skills:

  • Strong communications skills; writing, speaking, and listening
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Experience using EPICOR or similar ERP system
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical product specifications
  • Good organization and time management skills as well as the ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge in Scaffold industry is a plus
  • Spanish speaking is a plus

Education and Experience:
Over 3 years in call center environment or equivalent experienced in a manufacturing environment.
