Ken is our longest tenure. He makes our booth look amazing at trade shows. He has worked in many departments: welding, quality, painting, receiving, and assembly. A hobby of his is photography, where he has captured over 250 weddings.

Kevin started out in fabrication and then moved on to be a machine operator. His wife and brother both work here. He enjoys riding his motorcycle and going to car shows.

Scott has truly dedicated his career to us and is willing to do anything for the company. After leaving for a short time, he realized Bil-Jax is where he wanted to be. He enjoys snowmobiling, motorcycling, camping, working in his own shop, and spending time with family and friends.

Gary is one of our over 30 years of service employees. He started out in our machine shop and has worked in FAB, as a tow motor operator and welder. He enjoys kart racing.
Gary Bremer Material Handler
Lisa is our supply chain guru. She has 9 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren and enjoys spending time with them. In her spare time, she likes to scrapbook. She is looking forward to retirement and traveling with her husband.

Scott started out as a welder, then lead the team, and jumped over to quality. He is a high school track and field coach, a competitive sprinter, and is a licensed massage therapist.

Mark started in fabrication, then went to assembly, and then on to engineering. He likes to hunt and fish. He enjoys going to the beach and most recently went to the Philippines. The best beach yet!

Jerry is our longest tenure in welding. He also drives a tow-motor. He likes to hunt, fish, and read books. He enjoys having cook outs with family and friends.

Joaquin has worked as a welder, fabricator, and been part of the Research & Development team. He is a team player who takes pride in his work and loves to fix things. He likes to work on cars in his spare time.
Joaquin Matinez Maintenance
Ryan joined the team as a Shipping Clerk and has managed the shipping department for the last 10 years. He enjoys spending his weekends at the lake with his family. His hobbies include golfing, fishing, and hunting.
Ryan Short Shipping Manager
Earl joined the aerial work platform (AWP) engineering team and spent his first 18 years there before transferring to the scaffold engineering team. He has been collecting annual U.S. Mint Proof Sets since 1985.
Earl Bechtol Engineering Technician – Event
Don started his career working on the paint line for 12 years before moving to the maintenance department. In his spare time, he enjoys working and painting cars. He has a Camaro that he plans to drag race some day.
Don Oliphant II Maintenance
Dalene started out on the buying team then moved to her current role as Production Planner. Her favorite sport is volleyball. She plays on a women’s traveling team and has qualified for nationals the last four years.

James is our big spender. He lives on a farm and raises livestock, grows crops, and has a large family garden. He enjoys hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding, and spending time at his lake cottage.

Jacob started out as a welder. He likes to fish, bowl, and collect basketball and football cards. He enjoys going to church and spending time with his wife. He is a Philadelphia Eagles fanatic.
Jacob Smallwood Scaffold Fabrication – Lead
Mathieu has an extensive background in the equipment industry, and has worked in France, Sweden, Brazil and India. He plays soccer and rugby. He is a big fan of American football, and witnessed his favorite Carolina Panthers in the 2015 Super Bowl.

Steve handles the product liability litigations. He has taught high school mathematics and coached high school football and basketball. He has also umpired high school baseball and fast pitch softball for 45 years.
Steve Storrer Product Safety Manager
Becky serves on the board of directors for a small non-profit that assists the visually impaired, while coaching their goalball tournaments. She finds working with children that have a disability, a very rewarding experience.
Accounts Payable Specialist
Tammy started out as an accounts payable associate. She is the Administrative Pastor at her church and owns an HVAC company with her husband. She enjoys being outside with her family boating, wakeboarding, and camping.
Cash & Credit Manager
Melody handles commissions, cash entries, vehicle leases, rebates, and sales tax. She serves as Nursery Director and Church Calendar Coordinator at her Church. She enjoys walking, puzzles, and is an avid reader of mysteries.
Alejandro is part of our information technology (IT) team. He has a 3D printer and loves to tinker around with it. He can play the guitar, piano, and drums. He gave a TEDx talk in Mexico called “To Be Iron Man”.
IT&S Manager – Americas
Russ keeps us all safe and healthy, while improving our green footprint. He sings and plays guitar in a band. He is growing a garden for the local food pantry.
Health, Safety, and Environment Coordinator
Robin makes sure all our costs are in check. She enjoys watching her son play hockey at the college level, gardening, northern Michigan, and yoga. She is a runner, and has completed 3 full marathons and countless half marathons around the USA.

Kurt works with master scaffold erectors and dismantlers by supplying them with everything they need. He enjoys water skiing, snow skiing, and landscaping. He is a neat freak when it comes to the house, cars, and landscaping.

Dave started out on the paint line, then went to fabrication, jumped to shipping, and then to inside sales. A sports enthusiast, he is a member of the Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association and the Fulton County Sportsmen Club. He enjoys scuba diving and running.
Dave Flory Inside Sales – Customer Operations
Chris started as a welder, moved into fixture building, jumped to the lift side, then back over to the scaffold side to the inside sales team and onto his current role. His hobbies include hunting and building muscle cars and drag cars.

Krystle is the creative one on the team, always dreaming in color. She married her high school sweetheart and credits the movie Leap Year for her engagement story. She loves music, reading, traveling to new places, and spending time with her fiends and family.

Michelle is very involved in animal rescue and is on the board of directors for Planned Pethood, Inc. She LOVES football! She was once an on-air caller on the Jim Rome sports talk show “Rome is Burning”.

Chris brings over 25+ years of building and construction industry experience to the team. When not working he enjoys spending time outdoors. Fly fishing is his favorite, but he also enjoys biking, kayaking, bird hunting, and fishing.

Joe has spent the last 10 years in customer operations. Most recently he worked for the Jacksonville, Florida school district and a logistics company before that. He just moved back to northwest Ohio to raise his children in a small town.
